He was the youngest person to ever win the Nobel Peace Prize, which he earned for his work to end racial segregation and racial discrimination through civil disobedience and other non-violent means. |

Barack Obama
Barack Obama is the current and 44th president of the United States. From 1992 to 2004 he worked as a Civil Rights attorney. He served in the United States Senate from 2004 to 2007. On October 9, 2009 Barack Obama was announced as the winner of the Nobel Peace Prize for "for his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples." |
